This is a group uniting Vet Professionals and Rehabbers to see if there are any logistical templates that can be set up to help Vet Practices and their local Wildlife Rescues work better together, to help wildlife.

1. Relationship building between Wildlife Rehabbers & Vet Professionals.
2. Great examples of Wildlife Rescue/Vet Practice relationships that others could learn from and emulate, to benefit themselves and local wildlife.

We made quite a bit of progress in those 2 meetings.

A document was created from the second meeting featuring template Vet/Rehabber relationships and what they all had in common, for other Rehabbers/Vets to draw from. This file is available under ‘files’ in the WCB Facebook Group.

WE HAVE HELD 3 MEETINGS DURING 2024, ESPECIALLY LOOKING AT THE TOPIC: 'How Can A Wildlife Rehabber Set Themselves Up To Be In The Strongest Possible Position, To Start Or Renew A Rehabber/Vet Relationship... ?'

We collated a great deal of feedback, advice & anecdotal experience from Wildlife Rehabbers from across the UK and, in our final meeting, Rehabbers themselves collated all of the ideas into one structure, to provide a clear template that Rehabbers could use, to prove their professionalism when reaching out to Vet Practices to start or renew Vet/Rehabber relationships.
